Why are you getting this alert?
Advantus-owned locations (12th, SHW, etc.) are binned warehouses, while non-Advantus-owned facilities (Tuf-Tite, Complete, etc.) are not. We have a script that says if an item has a preferred location that is not at a binned warehouse, the “use bins” checkbox under the Fulfillment subtab is unchecked.
When an item is sent to an Advantus-owned warehouse, and the “use bins” box is not checked, the warehouse cannot receive the product. Binned warehouses have to be able to set up preferred bins and receiving locations based on how we run our business.
What should I do about this alert?
You must check the “use bins” box under the Fulfilment subtab. You must do this ASAP because the warehouse is trying to conduct business, and this is a bottleneck.
