SCOPE: Laminating MDF and 9MM boards to prepare for production. 4-6 Employees are required to operate the machine.
PURPOSE: Define procedure for utilizing laminating machine.

PROCEDURE:
- Ensure machine and all associated parts are turned on and operational
- Establish Employee Stations
- Determine who needs to work in which area to operate the machine
- Station Wood (9MM or MDF dependent upon BOM requirements) and vinyl in appropriate areas
- Ensure glue is ready for application
- Load Vinyl into machine
- Insert boards neatly to ensure accurate application
- Run 2-3 boards thru laminator first and toss to the side until application is accurate
- Once able, remove vinyl and place boards back in wood stack to be laminated
- Cut between boards on laminated sheets once glue and vinyl is applied to separate
- Remove boards from laminator and stack to be placed in WHSE for production
- Report description, location (moved from), count, color and location (moved to) on Lamination Report Form (PBG-028)
- Report excess Glue, Vinyl and Paper Usage against PBG-028
- Glue Usage: Approximate pounds of waste
- Calculate ½ # per bundle
- Vinyl: Approximate yards of waste
- Every Day: 6 Yards (start up)
- Every Vinyl Roll Change: 6 Yards
- Paper: Approximate yards of waste
- Every Day: 6 Yards (start up)
- Every Roll Change: 6 Yards
- Glue Usage: Approximate pounds of waste
