WHAT IS THE REMINDER FOR?
The reminder will show any items that are any status other than Development, Killed, or Obsolete that are missing Item Location Plans (ILPs).
WHY IS IT IMPORTANT?
ILPs connect NetSuite to Valogix (Supply Chain’s inventory planning system). If an item does not have an ILP set up, SCM will not have visibility to buy the product.
HOW DO I CORRECT ISSUES?
ILPs are required for all Inventory and Assembly item types regardless of their Preferred Location or how the item is brought in.
In the Edit mode, navigate to the Development subtab, check the “create item location plan” box, and save.
