Maintaining Staffing Agency Contracts 

  1. Maintain a file of all current agency contracts & service terms within SharePoint. 
  1. At the beginning of each year review the terms on file for both warehouse staffing and corporate/administrative staffing agencies. 
  • If any terms are past the agreed contract length, review the past year staffing list of employees and determine if the agency has maintained the agreed upon responsibilities (ie: length of time from request to starting of a temp employee, turnover due to temp labor attendance/performance, ect).

  1. When receiving updates/changes to billing rates, review temp labor lists to determine if we want to continue the relationship with the changed billing rate, if not, send a written notice of our intent to end the relationship. 
  1. When a hiring manager is deciding to convert a temporary employee to an internal permanent employee. 
  •  Request the total hours currently on file for the respective employee/candidate.  If the employee is still within the hours that would require a conversion fee, send all information to the hiring manager.

  1. Total Hours the employee is at and the amount for converting. 
  1. Total hours for the conversion to be $0 and approximately how much longer this would be. 

5. Request for decision on early conversion or waiting until $0.
