Freight Claims – TSG

The TSG website can be used to file claims for the following carriers: AAA, FedEx Freight, Old Dominion, SEFL, or YRC. Some of these carriers also allow you to file on their website if you prefer.  

Login to www.shiptsglive.com using the shared login information in Netsuite.  

Open a New Claim form using the Dashboard list at the left of the page. Click on Claims and then click on +New Claim from the drop-down menu.  

Fill in the required information in the Claim Information section of the form. 

  • Carrier: If you do not see a carrier listed, a freight claim cannot be processed through TSG for this carrier. The freight carrier’s specific portal/process must be used.  
  • PRO #: only one freight claim can be filed per PRO. 
  • Shipper: This will be where the shipment originated from.  
  • Consignee: This will be who the shipment was received by. 
  • Claim Type: The type selected will determine the type of documentation required to support the fright claim.  
  • Claimed Freight Amount: Total freight cost spent to ship claimed freight. 
  • Claimed Product Amount: Total cost of the product; NOT the sale price to the customer. 
  • Total Claim Value: This will be calculated based on the amounts entered in the Claimed Freight and Claimed Product Amount boxes. 

Fill in the required information in the Product Information section.  

  • Part #:  This is our Advantus Item number. 
  • Weight: Can be found in the Item record in Netsuite under “Units & Dims”. 

Attach the required documents in the Backup Attachments section 

  • Original Product Invoice/Material Invoice: This can be obtained from the Assembly/Bill of Materials record in Netsuite. The Carrier needs to see OUR cost of the product.  
  • Bill of Lading: This can be obtained from the TSG site under “Tracking  & Documents”. 
  • Delivery Receipt: This can be obtained from the TSG site under “Tracking  & Documents”. 
  • Photos: Photos are required if you are submitting a Damage claim. 

Once all required fields have been entered click Submit. You will be given a total dollar amount for the claim and a reference number.
