Purpose: To clearly outline when Customer Service should/shouldn’t provide a freight quote for Floating Luxuries orders/customers.
Typically, freight quotes are provided to customers using the Freight Quote process documented on Sharepoint and the Wiki. However, Floating Luxuries deviates from the standard process due to this division having freight added into the item cost.
When a customer requests a freight quote for Floating Luxuries products, Customer Service should not follow the existing process for Freight Quotes but provide the cost of the items the customer is requesting and let the customer know that freight is free.
If a customer requests a separate freight quote, please contact the Customer Service Supervisor or the Customer Service Manager to coordinate this with the Floating Luxuries division.
