Research has shown that hires who come into an organization through employee referrals are excellent contributors, stay longer, and are more cost effective to recruit. If you know someone who you think would be a great addition to Advantus, and they are hired to fill an existing open position, you will be rewarded with a referral bonus of up to $1000.00. At the end of the referred employee’s 90 day introductory period, you will receive $500.00. Once the referred employee completes their first year, you will be rewarded with an additional $500.00.
Program Rules
- The referral must represent the candidate’s first contact with the company. Temporary, contract and former employees are not eligible candidates for referral.
- The first employee to refer a candidate will be the only referring employee eligible for the bonus.
- Bonuses will be rewarded for the 90 day milestone and the one year milestone, not for any period of time in between. For example, if a referred employee is here for 8 months, a bonus will not be paid after the 90 day bonus.
- In order for us to determine the source, candidates should complete the referral portion on page 1 of the job application, or note the referring employee’s name on their resume.
- HR, Vice Presidents and above, and the hiring manager for the position being filled are not eligible for the bonus.
