Featured Description
Try to include most of the follow “Do’s”:
- What: The item name
- Who: Who would buy this?
- When: When would be a good time to use this? i.e.- deployment
- Where: Where might someone use this?
- Why: Why would the consumer need this product? What are the main features that set it apart from a competitor item, or any other similar item.
- Use SEO keywords that make sense, but don’t “stuff” too many keywords, or people won’t read the description.
- Research Google for reviews on the product if it already exists to address customer concerns or find common uses that weren’t thought of previously.
- Use the Copy.ai or chatGPT to assist with copywriting – login information is located in Bitwarden.
Do Not’s:
- Do not mention “value,” “price,” or any other words that are indicative of the cost associated with the item.
- Do not use words that have a negative connotation like “cheap,” or any other issues like “eye strain?” Keep descriptions positive and light. If you must, use a hyphen to create a “problem-solving” statement like “scratch-resistant”.
