Bluelounge QuickPeek App Troubleshooting

Dropbox Not Syncing:

  1. Open the app
  2. Go to the hamburger (three bars in the upper left corner)
  3. Select “sync,” which is  the third option from the top
  4. Toggle the Dropbox switch to “On”
  5. Authorize Dropbox (login, sign up, or allow access to QuickPeek)
  6. If an existing database is found by QP, select OK to replace that one with your new data
  7. Wait for the sync to complete

Images/Data Recovery:

Caution: This feature will attempt to recover images from the iCloud. Please only use this feature if you mind your items and/or images are missing. Unfortunately, items recovered in this way will be missing item information and will be put in an arbitrary box. You will need to recreate boxes and then reorganize your items and/or images.

  1. Open the app
  2. Go to the hamburger (three bars in the upper left corner)
  3. Press and hold the hamburger for 2-4 seconds, and then release
  4. You will see the menu suddenly include 2 new options:
    1. Recover Images
    2. Recover Data
  5. Select appropriate items you need to recover
  6. The app will search the ICloud and retrieve lost data/images

How to Issue Promo Codes for Label Credits:

  1. Login to AppStore Connect.  Bryan Dunford owns this account and can add new users. https://appstoreconnect.apple.com
  2. Click on My Apps

  1. Click on QuickPeek icon

  1. Select Features from menu at the top navigation

  1. Click Promo Codes from the left menu

On the Promo Code Screen, find the Reference Name for the number of credits needed, and enter the number of promo codes you need in the text field on the right of the page.  Then click “Generate Code” at the top right of the page.  For example, if you need 200 credits, enter “1” in the field on the right for the Reference name, Labels200.
  2. Check the box that you read and understand the rules, and then click “Generate Code.”

You will then be taken directly to the “History” tab, where you can view the code you just created. Click “View Code” on the right, and then copy and paste the code.  When sending the code to a customer, you must include the Promo Code terms from Apple per their policy. You can copy those from the PDF provided from the promo code screen, or use the text below and update the date accordingly.  The promo code expiration date is always four weeks from the date it was created.
