Backordered Items with Inventory in UA

Why are you getting this alert?

If you have backordered products with inventory in an Unavailable location, you will receive this alert daily at 10 am.

What should I do about this alert?

  1. You want to ensure you have a comment entered as to why UA has inventory.

  2. If your comment relates to the missing or damaged product, there isn’t anything you can do. Make sure you have a comment and disregard the alert.
  3. The alert will trigger if there is a quantity in the backordered column and inventory on hand in an unavailable location.
    1. The alert doesn’t consider that there might be enough on-hand inventory in an available location to cover orders.
    2. If you have enough inventory on hand and aren’t ready to move non-damaged/missing product into the available location, you can disregard the alert.
