Sales Order Fields

*If the Pick Task Days Before PSD field is blank, then Sales Orders for this customer will default to the system default time frame for the Advantus Location the Order is shipping from. This field can be edited to override the default to trigger task generation.
Preferred Bin for Items on Sales Order
All items shipping from all Advantus warehouses, except PBG, require a preferred bin to be set on the Item Record, even if there is no inventory in the Preferred Bin but inventory is in other bins.

The Preferred Bin will be highlighted in Green and have a T in the Preferred Bin column. If an item is at multiple Advantus warehouses, you will look for the location the order is shipping from.
Reviewing Pick Plans
Pick plans run automatically for Advantus locations but sometimes pick plans don’t run and IT intervention is required.
Netsuite Path: Transactions-Pick Planner-Groups
Select View for the location the orders in question are shipping from.
Click the Custom tab to view the Pick Plans in that Group. The Last Started and Last Completed should show today’s date, with a time stamp from the last hour.
If the date and time stamps are not from the last hour, please advise the respective Advantus warehouse facility Operations team to reach out to IT for support.
