Canceling Orders in CommerceHub/Rithum and Netsuite: 44COS, 44JCP, 44STCOM, 44STADV

APPLICABLE FOR:

  • 44COS – Costco.com
  • 44JCP – JCPenney.com
  • 44STCOM – Staples.com
  • 44STADV – Staples Advantage

If cancelled by customer: Will receive an email from filealert@commercehub.com with the Subject field as “Request for order cancellation from [insert customer name here]” with a txt attachment, of which you can find the PO #.

  • Log into CommerceHub/Rithum
  • Access the Art 101 USA Ltd profile (you will be prompted after login to select which profile)
  • Search PO # in search field and click “Go”
  • On the righthand side of the order, there is an Action dropdown list – select “Reject” and hit “Go”
  • Enter in the cancel quantity and the reason (if cancelled by customer – select “Cancelled by Merchant Request.” If cancelled due to OOS, select “Item Out of Stock”)
  • Click “Submit”

If the order has NOT been released to the warehouse:

  • Go to Netsuite and search PO in search field
  • Click on “Close” and enter the reason why if cancelled by customer – select “Cancelled by Retailer Request.” If cancelled due to OOS, select “Item Out of Stock”)
    The order is now closed in CommerceHub/Rithum and NetSuite

If the order HAS ALREADY been released to the warehouse:

  • Email warehouse to cancel the order and wait for them to confirm back it has been cancelled on their end
  • Go to NetSuite and search the PO in the search field
  • Click “Edit” and go to the Admin Tab
  • On the righthand side of the screen, UNCHECK “EDI 940/850 Sent”
  • Hit “Save”
  • Click on “Close” and enter the reason why if cancelled by customer – select “Cancelled by Retailer Request.” If cancelled due to OOS, select “Item Out of Stock”)
    The order is now closed in CommerceHub/Rithum and NetSuite
