- Cartons: All cartons must have a label on the exterior of every carton, preferably on the side. Do not place carton labels over a seam and avoid placing labels near corners.
- Mixed ASIN Pallets: A “Mixed SKU” warning label in a highly visible color must be affixed. All cartons must have labels, in addition to a pallet label.
- Single ASIN Pallets: A “Single ASIN” warning label in a highly visible color must be affixed. All cartons must have labels, in addition to a pallet label.
Essendant
- Pallet Level UCC-128: Two labels must be placed, between 16” and 32” from the top of the actual pallet, on two adjacent sides of the pallet on the outside of the shrink wrap. Pallets less than 16” high must have labels placed as high as possible while protecting the barcode.
- Carton Level UCC-128: One label must be placed on the right-hand side so that the bottom of the UCC-128 label is 1.25” from the bottom of the carton and the barcode is at least .75” from any vertical edge to avoid damage. Do not wrap UCC labels on carton edges.
JoAnn
- Cartons: All cartons must have a UCC128 label that is legible and comprehensible. Labels should be applied to the side of the carton and facing outward on the pallet. Labels must not be placed over carton seals.
Michaels
- Master Case: Label must be placed in the lower right corner of the master case panel.
- Pallets: Must include one label in a visible location.
Office Depot
- Pallet: The UCC-128 label should be placed in the upper right-hand corner of the pallet (like a postage stamp)
- Carton: The UCC-128 label must be a minimum of 2 inches from the outside corner of the carton.

- Same SKU Pallets: 2 UCC128 Pallet labels on the bottom right-hand corner on 2 adjacent sides.
- Mixed SKU Pallets: 2 UCC128 Pallet labels on the bottom right-hand corner on 2 adjacent sides AND each carton needs to have a Standard Carton Label or a UCC128 label. All case labels must be visible from the outside of the pallet.
